Delegation of Hokkaido Sino-Japan Economic Friendship Association Visited ZJSU
On the Afternoon of Sep. 11, Vice President Dai Wenzhan met with thedelegation of Hokkaido Sino-Japan Economic Friendship Association. Lead by the President Hakkou Nakada,the delegation includes CEOs of enterprises and representatives of law firms in Hokkaido. Along with Sun Zhenxing, Deputy Director,Wang Zheng, translatorof Department of Japanese Affairs ofThe Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and Wu Xiaodong, Vice President of Zhejaing Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Directors of International office andSchoolofOriental Languageand Culture also attended this meeting.
To begin with, Vice President Dai Wenzhan extended warm welcome to the visit of delegation, and gratitude to the support from The Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. Then, he introduced the basic background and internationalization development of ZJSU, especially School of Oriental Language and Culture. Around 70% of faculties study and get their degrees inJapan. In the future, we will continue to expand cooperation areas by conducting academic exchange and students exchange with first-class Japanese universities, such asWasedaUniversityandShitennojiUniversity.
Hakkou Nakadaappreciated the warm reception and expressed high expectations to the exchange and cooperation in the future. He said that ZJSU is a famous financial and economic University. By joint efforts, more talents should be cultivated to promote Sino-Japan relationship.
Hokkaido Sino-Japan Economic Friendship Association committed to the bilateral economic and trade exchanges. They visitChinaevery two years and plan to visit once a year. The association provides 5 scholarships to Chinese students to encourage them to get involved in the exchange project. During the visit, the delegation served as the judges of the “Hokkaido Japanese Speech Competition”. In this competition, excellent students will be selected to study inJapan.
