Introduction to ZJSU
Zhejiang Gongshang University(ZJSU), founded in 1911, is the earliest business school in modern China. The university is located in Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province, and is in the vicinity of Shanghai. Hangzhou is a world-famous tourist resort praised as “a paradise on earth” for its scenic beauty and tranquil environment, and is renowned for its thriving economy, fascinating culture and beautiful landscape.
The university is one of the provincial top universities covering nine academic areas including economics, management, law, literature, history, philosophy, engineering, science and arts, and has a good reputation in teaching and research, especially in business, administration, economics, law and food science.

The university has a full-time student population of 26900, a high level faculty and staff team of 2180 and has an area of 129.6 hectares, with two campuses: Xiasha Campus and downtown Campus. ZJSU offers more than 150 full-time Chinese-medium degree programs including undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD and post-doctoral programs. The university also offers different kinds of Chinese language, culture and business programs, Bachelor Program of Chinese Language and Literature in the field of Business, 30 English-medium and Japanese-medium degree programs especially designed for international students.
