President of Turkey Kadir Has University Visited ZJSU

On the morning of October 16th, Mustafa Aydin, President of Turkey Kadir Has University and Sinem, the coordinator of International Office visited ZJSU. Chen Shoucan, elect-President at that time and directors of International Office met with the foreign guests.

At first, Chen extended warm welcome to the Mustafa Aydin. He said that our two universities have sent students for exchanges to each other since the sign of cooperative agreement in 2010. The two sides have made remarkable achievements on the cooperation of students?exchanges. Chen hoped that the two universities could explore cooperative channels in scientific research and mutual visit of teachers and develop new platforms for exchanges, making contributions to promoting scientific and cultural exchanges and cooperation in research. Mustafa Aydin also spoke highly of the achievements made in the cooperation and exchanges and hoped that the two sides could make progress in mutual visit of teachers and lectures in a short term. At the same time, he welcomed the students of ZJSU to study in his university, enhancing mutual understanding and strengthening the friendship. After the meeting, Mustafa Aydin gave a lecture on education and study inTurkey? for the teachers and students of Foreign Language School.

Kadir Has University is located in Istanbul, Turkey with main campus in Cibali and two branches in Selimpa and Bahcelievler. There are 6 schools and 2 graduate schools. ZJSU signed SLPP agreement with KHU in 2009 and since then, the two sides usually send around 20 students respectively for two-week exchanges every year. In the past five years, our university has sent 109 teachers and students to KHU that also sent nearly 100 teachers and students to ZJSU for exchanges.
