Delegation from Association of Japanese National Universities Visited ZJSU
On the morning of March 21, the president of ZJSU, Zhang Renshou met the senior managing director of Association of Japanese National Universities, professor Masahiko ICHII and his colleagues. Directors from International Exchange and Cooperation Office, Schools of Food Science and Biotechnology, and School of Japanese and Language Culture attended the meeting.
President Zhang Renshou extended the warm welcome to the delegation, introduced general situation and development program of ZJSU, and reviewed the exchange and cooperation especially with Kagawa University in the fields of academic communication and student exchange, hoping that the Association of Japanese National Universities supports the student exchange program continuously, further expands areas of commutation and strengthens cooperation between universities. Professor Masahiko ICHII extended gratitude for our school’s warm reception and expressed the hope of future exchange and cooperation between two universities.
The Association of Japanese National Universities is made up of present presidents from 86 national universities which is regarded as the top organization and serves as an important hub maintaining relationship between national universities and Japanese Ministry of Education, whose main duty is to convey important information on national university planning to Japanese Ministry of Education so as to contribute to problems being solved by Japanese Ministry of Education. Professor Masahiko ICHII was the president of KagawaUniversitywho visited ZJSU in 2002 and signed cooperation agreement between Schools of Food Science and Biotechnology of ZJSU and Schools of Agriculture of Kagawa University, and from 2012 he serves as the senior managing director of Association of Japanese National Universities.
